Scuba Nearby helps people discover scuba shops and compare training options across Austin, Dallas–Fort Worth and Houston. Our charter listings cover selected Lake Travis and Gulf Coast boat trips, with departure points and operator source links.

Independent, and still growing

These are editorial listings based on public shop websites. Shops have not claimed or approved their listings. We do not represent them, rank their safety, or imply a partnership. Results are alphabetical, and there are currently no paid placements.

Useful facts, with their sources

Each listing links to its original source and shows when we checked it. Advertised prices may exclude personal equipment, site fees, and other costs. Schedules and availability must be confirmed with the shop. Our selection is not exhaustive.

Direct connections

Browsing is free, and there’s no Scuba Nearby booking fee. Website links take you to the shop. We don’t handle reservations, payments, or training eligibility.

Corrections and shop inquiries

Found an outdated price, a changed address, or a missing shop? Email hello@scubanearby.com with the listing link, the detail to review, and a link to the shop’s current information. Shop owners can also request a correction or removal. Please contact the shop directly for course availability, bookings, and refunds.

Privacy and referral links

Browsing does not require an account or contact details. If you email us, Zoho Mail processes your email address and message so we can review your request and reply. Please do not send payment details or medical information. We use first-party analytics to count page visits and clicks to shops and charter operators. The report distinguishes likely human activity, declared or suspected bots, and unclassified traffic; classification is approximate.

Analytics stores the visited page, time, broad referral source, traffic category, and shop or charter clicks. It uses a temporary identifier for each page visit, not a persistent visitor profile. We do not store IP addresses, full user-agent strings, full referring URLs, or search-query text in our analytics database. No analytics cookies are used. Records older than 90 days are removed when new traffic arrives. We honor browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Short-lived, in-memory request limits reduce analytics abuse and may omit some activity. Hosting providers may separately process standard request logs.

Only the owner can access the analytics report through ChatGPT sign-in. Shop website, course-details and charter-trip links include referral labels. A click does not prove an inquiry, booking, or sale; the shop’s privacy policy applies after you leave.
